Beyond the Tides

Welcome back to Prince Edward Island. Beyond the Tides by Liz Johnson is a story about family, forgiveness and the kind of love that heals all wounds. Meg and Oliver were in a fight while in high school after Oliver destroyed Meg’s science project. Besides teaching high school, she is also working on her dad’s fishing boat harvesting lobsters. Her dad has decided to sell his boat to Oliver however Meg does not want the family business to him. So, they begin working together in competition for the rights.

The story is emotional as they begin to figure out what is truly important and forgiveness. I enjoyed the story as I had visited a state on the east coast where lobster was the summer thing to do.

I received a copy of the book from Revell Publishing. All opinions are my own.
