Present Danger by Elizabeth Goddard is the first book in the Rocky Mountain Courage series, an action packed story filled with hidden crimes and long buried family secrets. The theme of the book caught my attention which I knew little of, illegal trafficking of Native American artifacts. I loved reading about the national parks and the investigations of crimes that happen behind the gates. Both Jack and Terra have trust issues. Jack is determined to protect Terra, but what he does not realize is that she knows how to use a gun and does not want him to protect her. A suspense story mixed with a bit of romance and I was hooked. I highly recommend the book.
