Miriam’s Song, by Jill Eileen Smith is a story about Miriam which follows her from childhood to death. The family knew that Moses was special, but so was Miriam as well. The author did a wonderful job bringing the story of Moses to life. Miriam’s life was far from easy, she experienced hardship, oppression, and faced many struggles. Her relationship with Moses was sometimes difficult, but she pushed through. Miriam wants to experience the same thing as Moses to talk face to face with God, but when God finally does speak to her, it is not what she wants to hear. This is one story that is to not be missed. I am looking forward to reading more of the author’s books.
