Ouch

Controversy. The news channel ran a story a few days ago that teachers and students at a college are being taught to say OUCH if someone hurts their feelings. Why do we need to be trained? I should be able to speak my mind and if I hurt your feelings, that was not my intention, accept what I say and move on. It is ok if you say something I don’t like, I will still love you.

Jesus commands us to love. 1st John 4:17– In this, love is perfected within us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world. (18) There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love. (19) We love because He first loved us.
